Loyal Companions 4-H Club organizes another great fund raising dog walk!
Loyal Companions hang out with KCSD members
May 14, 2005 - The Loyal Companions 4-H Club of Renton held a fund raising dog walk benefitting King County Search Dogs. This was the third year for this great fund raiser. Loyal Companions collects a participation fee from walkers as well as collecting donations and pledges for miles walked.
This is a fun event with a nice easy walk on the Cedar River trail in Renton. 4-H members as well as members of King County Search Dogs and the supportive public all bring their dogs along for the fun walk. Participants receive stickers at checkpoints while they count their miles!
King County Search Dogs gives search and rescue demos at this event for everyone to enjoy. The money raised is an important contribution to funds spent on training by the search dogs. Thank you for participating and a special thank you to Loyal Companions and their support for King County Search Dogs.
