Green Mountain, Sno Cty
0900 start for planned cadaver search. We responded with three cadaver teams, 4 personnel total. We also were accompanied by two teams from Snohomish County. SCSO located a car, based on an informants tip, that had been stripped, shot and burned. The informant stated that when he had gone to the car, he saw a body in the car. Our first effort was to search the burned out car at the SCSO's North Precinct. We had mixed results, with Boston indicating on the trunk and the other dogs giving no alert. In the field, it was unanimous that there was no body in the area searched. (38 hrs)

2130 callout for missing 10 yo female in Mill Creek. We had nine people responding but were turned around enroute. (9 hrs)

0030 start for evidence search. We reponded with one trailing team, 2 personnel total. KCSO Major Crimes requested our for an evidentiary trail. (8.5 hrs)

Shoreline
0200 callout for missing 16 yo male in Shoreline. We responded with one trailing and three airscent teams, 7 personnel total. The subject did not return from one of his regular walks. The trailing team travelled to Aurora Village and lost the trail. The airscent teams searched the parks in the area. The search was restricted from going into Snohomish County by KCSO. The search was suspended at 0700 due to no leads and traffic. The subject was located by a neighbor at the Edmonds Marina. (46 hrs)

Chinook, Pacific Cty
0930 start for planned evidence search in Pacific County. We responded with three trailing and one article team, 8 personnel total. We were requested for this evidence search to assist Pacific Cty Sheriff to locate additional items discarded by a homicide suspect. The wanted us for ground teams, but were eventually convinced that working the dogs would be more effective use of our time and energy. We did not locate anything of evidentiary value. (128 hrs)

MP 77, Hwy 2, Chelan Cty
0630 callout for missing person search in Chelan County. We had one trailing and one airscent team, 6 personnel total. The subject had car troubles along Hwy 2 near MP 77. He had been seen several times by different people. Ultimately he was seen wearing underwear and nothing else at 0300 hours, Wednesday. We were called to respond Thursday morning. The teams worked areas of interest along the road. A ground team gridding an area south of the base located the subject about 500-ft from base, down a hill. He was naked, but shivering and alive. The teams carried him out on a litter and sent him off in an ambulance. (46.5 hrs)
