0900 start for an evidence search for a weapon in a rural area. We responded with two dog teams and support personnel. The area had dense blackberries. The article was not located during this search. (80 hrs)

1730 callout to run a trail in an urban area for a missing 3 yo female. We responded with a single trailing team to confirm the route of travel of the child. Andy Rebmann, with Griz, worked from the residence to a point on the road where the dog no longer worked. The conclusion was that the child was taken away in a vehicle. The child had been returned after family paid ransom prior to running the trail. (5 hrs)

1300 callout for a missing 84 yo female in a rural area. We responded with four airscent and two trailing teams. The subject was located prior to deploying teams into the field. (13 hrs)

0800 start for the continued article search for a missing weapon. We responded with 14 people. The fully grown blackberries were removed to earth and the teams did a Type III grid search on hands and knees with no luck. (121 hrs)

1900 callout for a Cadaver/Evidence search in an urban area. We responded with three cadaver dogs to a crime scene to look for additional body fluids. The victim was attacked at scene and had experienced major injuries. The search was to locate additional blood/fluids or clues in and around the yard. K-9 teams provided double coverage at front, side and rear of residence in a landscaped yard. No significant clues were located by the search teams. The Det. Sgt. in charge let the dogs search the area between the house and shed where the victim had been located with all three dogs alerting on the victim's blood on the ground and walls. (11 hrs)

1915 callout for missing 7 and 10 yo females in an urban area. We responded with two trailing and two airscent teams. The subjects had been missing since 1700 hrs after leaving backyard. They returned to home, OK, around 2000 hrs, prior to our deploying teams into the field. (13.5 hrs)
