1230 limited callout for cadaver dog to assist Kent PD. We respnded with a single cadaver dog team. A house with suspicious stains in the rug was searched and nothing was found. (1.5 hrs)

Shoreline
1200 callout for missing 40 yo female in Shoreline. We responded with 7 personnel. Subject went missing at 0815 hours from residence. She was said to be non-communicative and had Down's syndrome. She returned to her residence while teams were enroute. (12 hrs)

Kent
0715 start for planned evidence search in Kent. We responded with three cadaver dog teams and a total of 15 personnel The missions was to clear a property of interest to a KCSO Task Force and run cadaver dogs through it. Interspersed with clearing approxmately 1/2 acre of blackberries, the cadaver dogs ran through the area. Discussion of the search results are awaiting the conclusion of the ongoing investigation. (128 hrs)

Enumclaw
0730 start for planned evidence search east of Enumclaw along 410. We responded with 5 cadaver teams, 12 personnel total. This was a new location to be searched to support the Green River TF. The first zone we searched was near MP 35. The teams worked a hillside with areas of interest but nothing located. The second area searched was near MP 26. Heather Cutting and Boston located a bone near an area where another bone had been found. No further information has been provided by KCSO. ( 115.5 hrs)

Seattle
2000 callout to assist SPD with active investigation. We responded with two trailing teams and 10 personnel total. SPD wanted to determine a route of travel using a scent article from the crime scene. Marcia Koenig and Coyote followed a route that agreed with information SPD had. Although we did not find the weapon, we assisted SPD with identifying a route upon which to focus their search. (65.5 hrs)

ES-044a, b
Bellingham
0800 start for planned cadaver search for Bellingham PD/FBI, in addition to a 2nd search for a missing person in Whatcom Falls Park. We responded with two cadaver and two airscent teams, 7 personnel total. The cadaver searches were at two properties for two separate investigations. The results of this search are withheld due to the on-going investigation. The 2nd search was to verify a missing female was not in the park where she had last been seen. Our teams worked with Whatcom County search dogs and were able to cover 60% of the park in several hours. The subject was not located. During the debrief, the BPD detective let us know that the subject may have been found, deceased, in Tumwater. (101 hrs)

Puyallup
0900 start for planned evidence search in Puyallup. We responded with two cadaver teams, three personnel total. This was a search to assist Puyallup PD with an on-going investigation at residence. Nothing located during this search. (14 hrs)
August 30, 2003
ES-045
Snoqualmie
0730 start for planned evidence search in Snoqualmie for Green River Task Force. We responded with five cadaver teams, 9 personnel total. The search was a continuation in an area previously identified 6 weeks previously. Although nothing was located by the dog teams, a human bone was found by a NW Horse SAR member in a dried, boggy area, under several inches of soil. (72.5 hrs)
