0430 callout for missing female in Bellevue. DS: 25. Responding: 27. The subject had been missing from the night before and was presumed to be in the lake. The request was for a trailing dog to confirm direction of travel. The subject was located in the lake prior to our team's arrival. (1.5 hrs)

0315 callout for missing male in Cumberland. DS: 2, Trailing: 4. Airscent: 22, 24, 27. The subject had walked away the previous evening with a packed suitcase and hard feelings. He was located more than 5 miles away by a Detective Sergeant with KCSO, along the side of the road with his suitcase. (17 hrs)

1300 callout for missing female hikers at Rachael Lake, Kittitas County. DS: 1. Responding: 15, 20, 24. The subjects walked into base just as our teams were being briefed. (13 hrs)

2200 hrs start for two missing women, plus dog. DS: 15. Airscent: 27. Support: 11, 24. Callout: 32. The subjects contacted 911 to say they were lost up Hanson Creek. Jonathan Brown and Benny, located the subjects along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River after a conversation with a camper who said he saw the subjects near the river. ( 10.5)

Mailbox Peak
0005 callout for injured hiker on Mailbox Peak. DS: 15. Rescue: 11, 24, 29, 32. The subjects described their location as being on the trail, about a mile above the road. They weren't there. They weren't on the trail. After further phone calls and using a deputies' siren along the Middle Fork Road, it was determined that the subjects had gone down a drainage towards Granite Lakes, on the north side of Mailbox. Ian Williams, with SMR's Seth Brothers, were the first to reach the subjects. A long, difficult lower was required to bring the injured hiker down to the Granite Lakes road. (59 hrs)

Bowen Island, BC
Planned cadaver search on Bowen Island, British Columbia, for missing female. DS: 25. Cadaver: 3, 9, 25. Water: 3,9. Support: 12, 24. A residence and wooded areas were searched as well as a lake. Areas of interest were reported to the Constable. (161 hrs)

Sauk River, Snohomish County
0530 callout for missing fisherman in Snohomish County. DS: 13. Airscent: 13, 22, 29. Support: 6. Subject had separated from his fishing partner the previous day near mile 37 of the Sauk River. The teams searched along the river, upriver of the PLS in the direction the subject was last seen traveling. (49.5 hrs) The subject was located the next day, nearly three miles from the river, by the fire he lit to keep warm.

2100 callout to assist with packout of injured hiker from Rainbow lake. DS: 15. Responding: 6, 24. The subject was into the Pratt River valley and our personnel assisted with this long, long carryout. (30 hrs)

Ilwaco
0600 start for planned cadaver search along docks in Port of Ilwaco Marina. DS: 13. Water: 13, 22, 29. Support: 20. The search for the fisherman was conducted from the shore as well as docks over the water. The search was conducted near low tide to reduce the water's interference. Nothing was located. (116 hrs)

0001 callout for missing dementia subject in Tacoma. DS: 2. Responding: 4, 22. The subject had alcohol induced dementia and had escaped from his care home through a window. He was located several miles away, lying on the pavement and taken to a hospital prior to our teams being deployed. (6 hrs)

Dog Mountain
1400 callout for two overdue male hikers near Dog Mountain. DS: 2. Base: 4, 11, 16. Airscent: 13, 20, 27. Support: 6, 15. The father and son pair were overdue from a five day backpacking trip to Anderson, Marten and Cougar Lake. We deployed teams along the Middle Fork side of the mountain. The subjects were located on the Lennox Rd, up the North Fork by a team who went to that side based on a text message sent early the previous day. (51 hrs)

0900 start for planned water search. DS: 1. Water: 3, 9, 25, 27. Support: 20, 24. The search was for a male lost in Juanita Bay. The teams located a general area for the divers. The subject 'popped' to the surface the next day outside of the area searched by the teams. (69 hrs)

Dingford Creek
2030 callout to assist with carry out of deceased hiker from Dingford Creak trail. DS: 2. Responding: 15, 22, 27. Callout: 1. The subject died of an apparent heart attack and we assisted with packaging the subject and participating in the carryout to waiting ATVs on the Middle Fork Road. (40 hrs)
