0030 callout for a missing 31 yo autistic male in a rural area. We responded with three trailing and two airscent teams. The airscent teams worked the greenbelts and wooded areas and the trailing teams identified a trail from the residence toward populated areas. These teams worked down a busy highway and eventually worked into a populated area with bus service. The subject was located in an adjacent town and it was determined that he had traveled to this town via bus. ( 60.5 hrs)

0400 callout for a missing 32 yo male hiker who was traveling cross-country from one trail destination to another. We responded with one trailing and five airscent teams. Anne LeJeune and Ember located the subject 1/4 mile from the trail head by doing voice checks. The subject was cold, slightly embarrassed, but otherwise OK. We point to this as an example that we must use all the tools available to locate the subjects during a search. (82 hrs)
