Machias, Sno. Cty
1300 start for planned evidence search for Snohomish County. We responded with 2 cadaver teams, 5 personnel total. SCSO requested our assistance to search a residence of a 14 yo male missing for 6 months. The teams searched the property and the garage and sheds on the property. Nothing was located. (29.5 hrs)

Money Creek, Hwy 2
2200 callout for missing hikers, Money Creek, Hwy 2. We responded with six personnel. When the subject's locations were determined, the teams were turned around. The (two) personnel who continued to respond were involved in the pack out of four slightly hypothermic subjects. (28.5 hrs)

Ravensdale
1100 start for planned cadaver search. We responded with 4 cadaver teams, five personnel total. KCSO detectives requested our assistance at a potential crime scene for an on-going investigation. Teams searched the residence, yard and nearby greenbelt. Nothing located. (14 hrs)

Renton
1945 callout for missing male in Renton. We responded with 9 personnel. Callout was for missing 40+ yo blind male. Turnaround came quickly when the subject was located at a car dealership. (5 hrs)

February 25, 2005
05-0489
Commonwealth Basin
2130 callout for missing female in Commonwealth Basin. We responded with 4 airscent and 1 trailing teams, 11 personnel total. The subject was camping with co-workers and got separated during a climb to the saddle just north of Guye Peak. The story was that she turned around when the party started scrambling up a steep, icy stretch of the trail. When the party returned to camp, she was not there. They called SAR at that time. The trailing team was deployed to the lower base camp and the airscent teams were sent into specific areas. The subject was located by a SMR team who found her asleep in a tent at the saddle off Guye Peak. (74 hrs)
