Watershed
0200 callout for three missing snowshoers near Taylor Mountain. We deployed two airscent teams and responded with 6 personnel total. The subjects started out at Snoqualmie Winery, heading for Rattlesnake Lake. From telephone contact, they were located within the Watershed, east of Hobart. Dogs 9 and 22 were sent on a confinement assignment and the subjects were chased down by a SPART team along the road where 22 was headed. (49.5 hrs)

Rattlesnake Ridge
1930 callout for three hikers lost on Rattlesnake Ridge. We responded with 6 personnel. The subjects started at the Snoqualmie Winery, heading for Rattlesnake Lake and got lost along the way. Through cell phone contact, KCSO was able to direct their helicopter to their approximate location where the pilots were able to locate them using their night vision goggles. Our teams were going to provide logistical support to the hasty teams by bringing additional jackets and warm food. (22 hrs)

Federal Way
1530 start for planned missing person search in Federal Way for a person missing since 2/14/08. We deployed two trailing teams and responded with 3 personnel total. This search was done as part of a major crimes investigation into a missing man. He had left work in Queen Anne and his car turned up several days later in an apartment complex in Federal Way. The trailing teams did not locate a trail where his car had been located but were able to locate a trail at his work site. The investigation is on-going. (21 hrs)

0800 start for planned evidence search at residence in Snohomish County: We deployed two cadaver dog teams and responded with 3 personnel total. A homicide was committed in August 06 and the investigation lead to this site to recover shoes and socks from the suspect. Before we even started, Stacie Chandler located a shoe by her truck at the edge of a grass field. During the search, Joanne Varney located clothing that was partially buried. Nothing more was located during the search. (11.5 hrs)

1900 callout for overdue hiker at Snow Lake. We responded with 8 personnel. The subject had not been seen since 1230 hrs. The teams were turned around when the subject was walking out with other hikers in the area. (10.5 hrs)

0500 callout for missing 70+ yo male Dementia subject in Kenmore. We responded with 4 personnel. The subject was last seen at 0230 hrs at his Sr. care home. He was located at a Safeway less than 1/2 mile from his residence. (6 hrs)
