1300 callout for a cadaver search in a wilderness area. We responded with five cadaver dogs to look for a missing flood victim after a flash flood. The teams searched along the flood plain but did not find the subject. The conditions were very difficult for the dogs as the soil was very dense which made for difficult scent conditions. The subject turned up several weeks later in the general search area. (167 hours)

1900 callout for a water search for missing 6 yo female. We responded with two dog teams. The subject was reported missing around 1530 hours while swimming at 5 Mile Lake near Federal Way. The dogs indicated at the north dock. We returned the following day to assist locating the subject. The subject was located in the afternoon under the south dock, approximately 80 feet away from where our teams identified areas of strongest interest. Strangely enough, the subject was floating in an area previously searched by divers. (33 hrs)
