1600 callout to assist with carryout along Denny Creek. We had 6 personnel responding. A hiker was injured and needed assistance. The teams did not deploy into the field as the SMR teams there had it under control. (12 hrs)

0100 callout for missing 60 yo female Alz pt. We responded with one trailing and two airscent teams, 5 personnel total. The subject did not return after a quest to find a different trail down to the water from her residence. The subject was located by an ESAR team when she responded to a voice check. She was in a ravine, thick with nettles and other undergrowth. Early onset dementia. (50.5 hrs)

1900 callout for missing hikers on Mailbox Peak. We had 8 personnel responding. The subjects had called 911 and reported they were lost. They found their way to the trailhead while teams were enroute. (4 hrs)

Phelps River, Chelan County
0830 start for planned cadaver search along Phelps River in Chelan County. We responded with five cadaver teams, 9 personnel total. The subject was reported missing in October 05 with his car being located at this trailhead in late June 06. Our teams searched near the vehicle and did trail searches along several popular climbing access routes with nothing located. (134.5 hrs)

0600 start for planned cadaver search in Nespelem, Colville Reservation: We responded with four cadaver teams. The subject had gone missing in April 2004. The investigation pointed to a residence to be searched as well as an area near where the missing person's car was located. Nothing definitive was located during the search. (108.5 hrs)

Mill Creek, Snohomish County
0700 callout for missing 75 yo male Alz subject. We responded with two trailing and two airscent teams, 8 personnel total. The subject was last seen several blocks south of his residence around 1515 hrs. The airscent teams worked high probability areas near the residence while the two trailing teams worked south to 164th, where dog exhaustion (2 hrs), traffic and difficult conditions terminated the trails. The subject was located 5 days later in Bend, Oregon, after he went to a State Police office seeking a bed and a job. (45 hrs)
