2000 callout for a missing 35 yo female hiker. We responded with two airscent and a single trailing team. The subject was descending the trail when sh missed a turn and ended up in a valley. We searched the areas where she had been at night and were ready to start again in the morning when she was located 3 miles to the west, down the valley. It turns out that this is a common result with other lost subjects in this area being located down this valley. (98.5 hrs)

2030 departure for a cadaver search for local fire department and the ATF in three buildings. We responded with three cadaver teams trained to operate in collapsed buildings. We searched the top story of 6 story bldg where the roof collapsed as well as collapsed, abandoned 3-story and 6-story buildings. Several residents of the building were not accounted for and we were to see if they were in the building. We did not locate human remains during this search. The Red Cross accounted for all registered hotel guests in the subsequent week. (108 hrs)

Whidbey Island, Island County
Followup on earlier search on Whidbey Island for Whidbey Island NAS police. We responded with 5 cadaver teams to investigate areas of interest identified by detectives. We located no clues nor human remains during this search. (148 hrs)
