Nisqually River, Thurston Cty
0800 start for planned water search for Thurston County on the Nisqually River. We deployed two water search teams, having responded with 4 personnel total. Teams searchedfor two missing subjects from PLS downriver from boats. The teams identified areas of interest but when the divers searching those areas did not locate the victims. (40 hrs)

Bellevue
1545 callout for missing 69 male Alz subject in Bellevue. We deployed two trailing and three airscent teams; having responded with 12 personnel total. The subject was heard leaving his residence at 0630 hrs by his wife. Local PD didn't call us until the afternoon. He had walked-away twice before this week. The subject was located at a Metro Transit bus base in downtown Seattle just after 1800 hrs. Although he was a former bus driver, he was unable to tell us if he caught a bus from Bellevue to Seattle. 1400 hrs callout for missing 18 yo male downs syndrome subject from Lake Wilderness. OL: 1. Responding: 2, 4, 15, 22, 27, 29. Callout: 3. The subject had walked away from a group outing at the park. He was located at his girlfriend's house, having walked five miles to her home. ( 15 hrs)

Camp Long, Seattle
1600 hrs callout for missing 58 yo developmentally disabled male in Seattle. We deployed three airscent and one trailing team, having responded with 9 personnel total. The subject had been staying at Camp Long since Friday and went missing at 1130 hrs on Sunday. After Camp staff and SPD looked for him several hours, SAR was called in. Josh Gerstman and Edgar, with Chris Terpstra in support, located the subject in the north end of the facility, caught up in blackberries. They walked the subject back to base. This was the fourth time in recent memory the subject had walked away. ( hrs)

McClellan Butte
1830 hrs callout to assist with carryout on McClellan Butte: We responed with two personnel. After the Camp Long mission was wrapped up, we responed with a limited number until it was determined if the KCSO helicopter could hoist the injured subject out of the field. They could, so we were turned around. (3.5 hrs)

Nisqually River, Thurston Cty
0800 start for planned water search, a continuation of the 16Jun08 mission. We deployed two water teams on boats and three teams along the shore, having responded with 7 personnel total. The adult victim surfaced more than a 1/2 mile downriver of where he was last seen, so Thurston Cty wanted our teams to search again. The child victim was located by a passerby approximately 200 yards downriver of where he was last seen. (68 hrs)
