apartment building in SeaTac. BD: 1. Cadaver: 2, 3, 22. Support: 4, 9. We were
requested to search building for human remains. No alerts were observed during
the mission. (26 hrs)

2200 hrs callout for missing mentally impaired female at Dash Point State Park.
BD: 2. Trailing: 4, 25. Airscent: 29. Base: 6, 11, 16, 20, 24, 27. The subject had
separated from her mother while on a walk along the beach. Just as teams were
deploying, and retrieving a scent article, the subject was located in Normandy Park
(10+ mile walk). (28 hrs)

Bellevue
2115 hrs callout for missing male Alz subject in Bellevue. BD: 2. Base: 4, 12, 13,
20, 25, 27. The subject was last seen at 1800 hrs at Factoria Mall. As teams were
preparing to deploy, the subject was located in a yard about 1/2 mile to the west, by
the homeowner. (9 hrs)

0900 start for planned cadaver search in Port Townsend. BD: 2. Cadaver: 2, 23.
Jefferson County Sheriff wanted assistance on a 1973 missing person case. We
were to search a residence for blood evidence. Nothing definite was located. (23
hrs)

1300 start for missing male in Auburn. BD: 29. Trailing: 4, 20. Callout: 13. KCSO
requested a limited callout for this missing 56 yo male, with mental deficit. The
subject had been missing for 24+ hours and the trailing teams worked to determine
a direction of travel. They worked a trail that was verified by interviewing
witnesses, who saw the subject the day before. Due to fatigue, the teams stopped
after 4+ hours of work. (29.5 hrs) The subject was located the next day in
downtown Auburn)

Kaleetan peak
1000 callout for missing climber. Responding: 2. Limited callout for KCSD as
mission request was for Dog 2 to be in planning role for a lost climber from
Kaleetan peak the previous day. The climber was located by an SMR team, using a
FRS radio. (7.5 hrs)
