1430 start for planned evidence search for Seattle Police at Mee Kwa Mooks Park in West Seattle. We responded with four cadaver teams. The search was scheduled to assist SPD with determining if a missing person was a homicide victim and his body was in the park (near where his vehicle was found). No human remains were located by the teams. (40.5 hrs)

1800 callout for missing 8 yo in suburban area. Turnaround when subject located while teams enroute. We had ten personnel responding. (5 hrs)

1900 callout for missing 13 yo male in Green River, just east of Auburn. We had three teams searching along the banks and in a boat near the swimming location. The subject had been swimming but was pulled under by strong current. Dogs showed mild interest in pool when subject was eventually located the next day. (45.5 hrs)

2100 callout for missing 16 yo male at Flaming Geyser park. Turnaround when subject located while team enroute. We had five personnel responding at the time of the turnaround. (5.5 hrs)

Seattle
1730 callout for cadaver dogs to assist Seattle Police Department with served search warrant. We responded with two cadaver teams. The teams searched a residence where there had been reports of the "smell of decomposition". The search determined that the smell was a dead canine. (7 hrs)
July 15, 2002

Tukwila
1300 start for planned water search along Duwamish river. We responded with five cadaver teams. Teams searched section of river within tidal influence zone, near where subject's car was located. Teams searched on shore and from a boat with negative results. The body was located several days later by a passerby, near the search area. (61.5 hrs)
