1400 start for planned evidentiary trail. We deployed one trailing team and responded with 2 personnel. We were called to assist with an active arson investigation from 36 hours prior. The trailing team worked two separate scent articles and gave the investigators areas and directions of travel. ( 12 hrs)

1800 hrs callout for missing 76 yo female in Federal Way. We had 8 personnel responding. Teams were turned around enroute when the subject was located, deceased, in the trunk of her car.

1330 hrs callout for limited evidence search at crime scene. We deployed two article search teams and responded with 2 personnel total. The teams searched the grounds of the nursing home where a woman was found deceased in the trunk of her car. No articles were located in this search. (6.5 hrs)

Carkeek Park
0900 start for planned cadaver search at Carkeek Park, in Seattle. We deployed six cadaver dog teams. The teams were looking for additional remains for a person who committed suicide by train. Most of the body was recovered when the incident occurred in February, but a local woman located a partial mandible several days before our search. During our search we noted a definite area of interest but no remains were located. (43.5 hrs)

Stanwood, Snohomish County
0900 start for planned cadaver search in Stanwood, WA. We deployed two cadaver teams and responded with 6 personnel. The teams were working an open field to look for remains of a victim who may have been buried 15 years ago in this area. The conditions were very unfavorable, as the temperature was just above freezing and snow was falling. The teams noted an area with some interest and this was identified for the Detectives for future exploration. (34 hrs)
