1230 callout for missing 8 yo male in Renton. We responded with one trailing and three airscent teams. The subject was not at school and not at home. Our trailing team searched through the Fred Meyer store, where the subject reportedly had been seen. Subject located around 1500 hrs in dumpster in the apartment complex. It appears the subject was avoiding the searchers. (37.5 hrs)

1500 callout for missing 74 yo female with Alzheimer's. We responded with three trailing and five airscent teams. The subject was reported missing at 1215 hrs from residence. Subject was described as suffering from dementia as well as non-comunicative. Teams searced the apartment complex as well as nearby greenbelts. One trailing team worked several areas of reported sightings. The subject was located 45 blocks away by a citizen who saw the news coverage on the search. (46.5 hrs)

1200 start for planned continuation of the evidence search in Woodinville. We responded with three cadaver teams. The search areas were additional ones identified by GPS tracking of the resident's dogs. Nothing located. (64.5 hrs)

1800 callout for missing female Alzheimer's patient in Clearwater. Turnaround while enroute. We had five personnel responding at the time of the turnaround. (5.5 hrs)

Shoreline
2115 callout for missing dementia patient in Shoreline. We responded with two trailing and two airscent teams. The subject walked away from residence at 1630 hours. Recent paranoia episodes raised issue of change in mental state. Trailing teams worked from residence to the intersection of Aurora and 175th. Airscent teams checked the blocks around the residence and 7-11 store as well as Shorewood HS and a nearby cemetary. This subject was the focus of a search from this residence a year ago. The search was suspended by KCSO at 0145 hrs. The subject was seen by a social worker at 0800 on 11/22/02 in downtown Seattle. It was later reported by a KCSO deputy who contacted the care giver that the subject had travelled from residence to 175th and Aurora where he caught a bus to downtown Seattle. Andy Rebmann, his Shepard Griz, and Greg Varney, his Golden Retriever Trulee, both ran a trail from the residence to this intersection before the trail terminated. (59.5 hrs)
