Skykomish
1830 callout for missing hunter on Sobieski Mtn, near Skykomish. We responded with three airscent teams, 7 personnel total. The subject chased after his dog and lost his way. After it got dark, he called 9-1-1 and request assistance. We deployed the first airscent team into the area near his vehicle and the second teams were on the way when an SMR team found the subject. The SMR team had been following a set of footprints from the subject's vehicle for nearly two hours. The "runaway" dog returned to the subject's vehicle while he was missing. The SAR deputy was in phone contact with the subject and was coordinating voice checks via radio and phone until the subject was located. (43.5 hrs)

Mt. Defiance
0100 callout for missing hiker near Mason Lake. We responded with two airscent and one trailing team, 9 personnel total. The subject had left for a hike in early afternoon on 11/3, expecting to return that evening or the next day. At 1130 hrs on 11/4, he called his wife and said he was exhausted, out of water and lost. Wife described the conversation as something was definitely wrong. We started with two airscent teams to Mason Lake and other lakes in the area. We also ran a trail from the trail register until a point 1,500 feet below where the subject was located. The subject was located by an ESAR team on the ridge west of Mt. Defiance after having come in from the Mason Lake trail. (75.5 hrs)

1100 callout for missing 7 yo autistic male in Seattle. We had nine members responding. Subject's coat had been located at 8800 block of Rainier ave. Subject had last been seen at 0740 hours at Safeway on 3800 block of Rainier Avenue. Subject was located at 1205 hrs by SPD @ Convention Place Tunnel Station after an alert METRO driver located him. Teams were turned around enroute, or after arriving at base. (12.5 hrs)

Shoreline
2330 callout for missing 48 yo male in Shoreline. We responded with 9 personnel. Subject was said to be autistic as well as potentially unfriendly to strangers. Subject left care home at 1000 hours and was last seen by caregiver at 1530 hours at 185th and Aurora, heading south from the SE corner. We deployed a trailing team to the PLS and an airscent team to a school in the neighborhood. During the interview with the caregiver, we learned the subject had been located in the past in the back of a business on nearby Aurora Avenue. We re-deployed Stacie Chandler and Sage to this location. After searching for 20 minutes, Sage located the subject asleep on a mattress that was stored outside. KCSO deputies contacted the subject and returned him to his residence. (31.5 hrs)
