1600 callout for a missing 85 yo male in an urban area. We responded with four trailing and five airscent teams. The family had no contact with the subject for 3 days. The subject's usual walking gear (cane, hat, shoes, etc.) were still at the residence. The airscent teams did not locate any clues, nor the subject, in local parks and green belts. The trailing teams came to two conclusions: the subject had been picked up in front of his house or he had traveled to a bus stop. The search was suspended pending further developments. (102.5 hrs) This was our first search that interrupted a holiday celebration.
