The subject was located, deceased, around the corner from her residence, in the front yard of an adjacent residence. The trailing teams were requested by the police to find a direction of travel to see if the subject was attacked along the way. (20.5 hrs)

0600 callout for missing 65 yo male in Fall City. We responded with three trailing teams and two airscent teams; 8 personnel total. The subject had not been seen since noon the previous day. The interview identified that he used to live in Marysville and had been talking about returning home. The subject was located by Marysville police at his former residence. (27.5 hrs)

0700 callout for planned cadaver search for missing 10 yo female in Lakewood. We responded with two trailing, one water and one cadaver team, 8 personnel total+E128. We were requested to participate in this search at the request of the FBI. The trailing teams worked a common trail and the water/cadaver teams worked the region near the end of the trail. Nothing was reported. (70.5 hrs)

0630 callout for missing 36 yo male. We responded with 12 personnel. The mentally retarded subject was reported missing from his group home around 0400. During the course of the interview with the caregiver, the Varney's learned that the missing person had a history of walking away, including ending up at his parent's residence. This information was conveyed to Federal Way Police who followed-up and located the subject at his parent's residence. (38 hrs)

1530 callout for missing male. We responded with one trailing team, 5 personnel total. The mentally disabled subject was last seen around 1100 hrs from the facility where he lives. The trailing team worked a trail from the residence to near a Park n Ride facility, but was unable to establish a direction of travel from this location. Subsequent information provided by Snohomish County deputies was that this subject had walked to the Park n Ride and was given a ride to Woodinville, where he was found the next day. (31.5 hrs)

0800 start for planned cadaver search in Lakewood for missing female. We responded with seven cadaver teams, 12 personnel total. This was a continuation of the 06 December 05 mission for the missing 10 yo female. We were requested directly by Lakewood PD to search a wooded area identified in a tip. The teams provided double coverage in the areas established by the IC. Nothing was located. (100 hrs)
