0500 callout for missing 12 / 13 yo males in an urban area. We responded with a trailing team and two airscent teams. The subjects were backyard camping and found to be missing in morning. The subjects returned home at 0800. We have no idea how long they were grounded for. (30 hrs)

Tukwila
1115 callout for a missing 33 yo woman in an urban area. We responded with two cadaver teams. The scenario had this subject the possible victim of domestic violence. We searched a mile of the Green River near Fort Dent. We did not locate the subject, nor related clues. The search was suspended at 1630 hrs. (30.75 hrs)

We participated in a speculative evidence search for KCSO. We responded with a single cadaver dog at KCSO's request. We did not locate the subject, nor related clues. The search was secured at 1110 hrs. (10 hrs)
November 24, 1998

Oak Harbor, Island County
We participated in an evidence search for the USN in a wilderness area. We responded with 4 cadaver teams. The subject was a person missing in a two year old case, possibly the victim of domestic violence. We did not locate the subject, nor related clues however, we did identify areas of interest for follow-up by the detectives. (90 hrs)
December 22-23, 1998

Tradition Lakes Plateau, Tiger Mountain
1530 callout for a missing 89 yo male in a wilderness area. We responded initially with 1 trailing team and three airscent teams. The subject had been missing for one day when we responded. We returned the next day and searched with three cadaver dogs. The subject was located by Marci Koenig and her German Shepard Coyote at 1100 hrs on 12/23., deceased. The scenario had the subject experiencing the first holidays without his wife. He was located lying peacefully, hands crossed, with his coat folded on the ground next to him. (132.5 hrs)
