0100 callout for a missing 83 yo Alzheimer's patient in an urban area. We responded with two trailing and four airscent teams. The subject was last seen at 2000 hrs the night before. Subject may have walked through two open gates at care center and into parking lot. Two trailing teams put subject north of facility. Airscent teams were tasked to adjacent parks, streets and schools. The subject was found 10 blocks north of PLS in a residential yard. He was cold, scratched and had a bruise on his face, but otherwise OK. (94.5 hrs)

1330 callout for a missing 67 yo male dementia patient in an urban area. We responded with three trailing and three airscent teams. The subject was last seen at 1700 hrs the previous day. The trailing teams identified a trail to a shopping area 1/2 mile from the residence. The subject's photo was recognized by different store employees as somebody who regularly goes to the area. Airscent teams worked possible locations near the residence and near the shopping area. Because the subject has a bus pass, and knows how to use it, the search was suspended after the search assignments turned up negative. (85 hrs)

0730 callout to continue the dementia patient search. We responded with two trailing teams and were dispatched to several locations in Bellevue. One location, a bus stop, was where a Metro driver reported dropping off the subject. The two teams concluded the subject was at this location and walked a trail to another bus stop, where the trail was lost. The other two locations were residences of family members; at both these locations, there was no interest by the trailing teams. (16.5 hrs)

0000 callout to continue the dementia patient search. We responded with three dog teams to search condo projects being constructed in the area south of the subject's residence. Also, one trailing team went to another residence in Bellevue to check if the subject had been near his wife's apartment recently. All areas were negative. (18 hrs)

2000 callout for a missing Alzheimer's patient in an urban area. We responded with two trailing and six airscent teams. We were turned around when he subject was located by local police, 1/4 mile away from PLS. (14.5 hrs)

1130 callout to continue the dementia patient search We responded with three trailing teams and three airscent teams. This was to follow-up on a reported sighting of the subject at Meeker and West Valley Hwy. Trailing teams worked from location seen to bus stop about 2 blocks west. Airscent teams worked nearby green belts and businesses. Ground teams went to nearby apartment complexes and talked to residents. Another trailing team did the "Bus Stop Hop" by following one of the routes from the bus stop identified by the other trailing teams. In checking several locations, there was some interest in a route at Highline Community College. Despite these efforts, the subject is still not located. ( 70 hrs)

0430 callout for two missing climbers on Lennox mountain outside of Skykomish. We responded with two airscent teams. The climbers had been reported as overdue after 1700 the previous day. The subjects were located 10 minutes from the PLS on the trail by a SMR team, with one subject having an ankle injury. The subjects had taken a side trail from their stated route. (36.5 hrs)

1100 callout to continue the dementia patient search in downtown Seattle. We responded with two trailing dogs. The subject was reported to be dropped off by a Metro bus driver at 1st and Pine in Seattle, and then heading east on Pine. Teams worked a trail from PLS, east on Pine to 6th Ave, then turned north to Olive. The trail was lost at a major bus stop. (16.5 hrs)
