0800 callout for planned cadaver search near Kent. We responded with five cadaver teams. This is a continuation of the Green River investigation. The search area was of interest to the task force. Nothing located. (236.5 hrs)

Woodinville
0800 callout for planned cadaver search near Woodinville. We responded with three cadaver teams. This is a continuation of a 2/28/02 search near Paradise Lake for a missing male who was last seen walking home from an acquaintenance's house. The impetus for this search was a local dog returning to his house with two human bones, as well as clothing and a boot matching what the subject was thought to be wearing. The search was concentrated within a 1/4 mile area to the north, east and south of the residence. Nothing was located during this search. (102 hrs)

0730 callout for planned cadaver search near Woodinville. Continuation of search based on GPS readings of local dog's roaming. Nothing was located. (129.5 hrs)

Melakwa Lake
0045 callout for pair of missing hikers at Melakwa Lake. We responded with five airscent teams. Two female hikers in their 50's set out for Melakwa Lake on 10/25 at 1000 hrs and did not return at end of day. The search plan included one team to hustle to the lake, one team search possible areas along the route to the lake, one team to start up the Ollalie Lake trail for confinement and the final two teams to search possible areas near the trailhead. The subjects were located at 0515 hours at Lower Tuscohatchie Lake by an ESAR team doing voice checks. The subjects were fine, but hungry. Our Ollalie Lake team assisted with the walkout. (115 hrs)
