Bainbridge Island, Kitsap County
1600 callout for a missing 79 yo male (possible Alzheimer's) in a suburban area. The subject had been missing for several days before we were called out. We responded with two trailing and one airscent team. The trailing teams started at the PLS, moving generally to the west along trails, and ran into a large scent pool. The airscent team was deployed in the general area of the scent pool and did not locate the subject. The subject was found 2 days later further to the west, deceased. (52 hrs)

Stampede Pass
We participated in a cadaver search in a wilderness area for a hunter missing for several weeks. We responded with 3 cadaver teams and 2 additional support people. The search was a multi-agency effort with K-9 and ground teams from different counties. The subject was located by a K-9 team from Pierce County. (83.5 hrs)

Seattle
1000 callout to assist Seattle PD on an evidence search. We responded with three cadaver dog teams. The scenario placed several ship mates leaving the boat for the weekend and only two returning. There was possible foul play as two of the three had several disagreements during the recent voyage. We located nothing relating to the search. (38.5 hrs)

Mason Lake, (I-90)
0115 callout for an overdue 48 yo male hiker in a wilderness area along I-90. We responded with two trailing teams and two airscent teams as well as two additional support personnel. The search area included areas with recent snowfalls. One of our searchers become slightly hypothermic and needed care. The subject walked into base around 1215 hrs. (158.5 hrs)
