K9 Indie & Susan
Indie is high energy sable German Shepherd with a strong desire to hunt and extreme enthusiasm for the “game” of finding people. Susan and Indie are training toward certification as a Trailing team. Susan and her former K9 partner, Jazz, joined KCSD in 2005 and certified in both Trailing and Air-scent. Susan is a trailing evaluator; has assisted in teaching numerous trailing classes and seminars; and served the unit in various positions including Operations Leader and twice as Board Treasurer.
